After Dell dropping the support and discontinue the Dell Streak 5 and AT&T even realize that dell Streak is one of their phones! Who would have thought to see ICS on their Dell Streak. But thanks to all the developers in XDA, as usual, ICS is actually running on my Dell Streak and so many others too.
Check this link and you will discover the amazing work and efforts that XDA are putting to have an every day ICS ROM for Dell Streak.

We should take action towards this lack of support
The phone is not even a year old “for me” and it is already been discontinued. Even though it is discontinued does not mean the company can walk away from it. We bought it and paid a lot of money for it, “and we are still paying money under the two year contract”. This should be considered a fraud to sell something to make a lot of money then turn the switch off and walk away with all that money. Any looser can do that, we can buy an item off the Chinese market for a very little $$$ and go and sell it very fast and once we make our goal and get the $$$$$$$ we wanted, we discontinue it. But, that phone was not from any $&%^#$ guy, it was from Dell and that is why we trusted that name and bought that phone.
go and search Google for streakdroid and read about DJ Steven to get some updates on your streak, I am so amazed with what he can do for us, never mind about the big names that are only interested in making money!

Syncing The Streak?
I like to have a spare sync cable available always for my phone, one in home and one in work. So, did you see how much it costs to buy a Dell Streak Sync Cable? not any more, China just started to produce this cable and you can buy it now for few $s including shipping!
It is the exact same cable a little cheaper, but, it does the job :)
The one I bought was from Ebay, search for sync cable.

How to charge a dead Streak battery?
I left my Dell Streak overnight as usual next to me on the desk, in the morning it was dead. no sign of life!
I plugged it to the USB charger for few hours, nothing. now all it does that the buttons light goes on and the screen shows 0% ! on an empty battery sign.
So, I go to my Google and do some research and I find one of the comment says to plug it into the original Dell Charger! When I did, 15 minutes and it is running and shows about 30% status of the battery.
So, what is going on? what is the difference between my generic USB charger that I use everyday anyway to charge my streak phone with and the original Dell Charger?
I will have to do more research and testing, then we will find out!
For now if you got a dead Streak phone, use the original Dell USB charger.
If you have any comments or opinions, please, leave me some comments and let me know what you think.
